HymerVan
On the way to France in April my new 2012 Euro 5 Citroen Relay it sustained a big stone-chip on the A Pillar from a large stone thrown up by an overtaking car. Lucky you could say because it might have taken out the windscreen. The colour of the Van is plated under bonnet as "Azzurro Lago" code 453 which translates as "Lake Blue" the Citroen name for the colour. (probably Azzurro Blue for a Peugeot). Easy I thought, I will go to a Citroen main dealer to buy a paint stick. Tried two large dealers in France and they say that there is NO part listed on the Citroen database. Returned home and tried Arnold Clark Citroen who supplied original vehicle for conversion and who are coincidentally also local agents for Fiat. They were able to order part but then did not phone me back. After some chasing they said they could not get the part but referred me to their Fiat colleagues. After much explanation as to why I was speaking to Fiat for a Citroen vehicle they took an order but never responded further. On chasing up three weeks later I am being told that they are reluctant to order because they cannot guarantee that the paint colour will be correct. I have suggested that given the availability of the vehicle itself, the chassis number and paint code and the fact that Arnold Clark are both Citroen and Fiat Commercial dealers their position is pretty weird. Any suggestions ?
ips
Very strange why your dealer cannot supply :-S Try this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Touch-Paint-CITROEN-LAKE-BLUE/dp/B004N25JNE
colin
I'm not sure that any main dealers of any make supply touch up paint (que list of links to prove me wrong :D ) But for me first 'port of call' would be local motor factors or ebay.

Derek Uzzell
A GOOGLE search suggests that the Azzurro Lago colour has been used by Fiat since 2003. This Fiat dealership advertises a 'paintstick' described as "Fiat 453/A AZZURRO PUCCINI/LAGO" which may well be what HymerVan needs. http://www.northgatefiatshop.co.uk/product/453%7CA_AZZURRO_PUCCINI%7CLAGO_71801876 There are also companies that will guarantee to match paint colours. For example http://www.CarPaintRepair.co.uk/
HymerVan
Thanks for all helpful contributions. Arnold Clark left a voice message for me yesterday to say that they had ordered the paint and would be in touch in a few days. Fingers crossed its third time lucky otherwise I will follow up the other suggestions.
HymerVan
Arnold Clark phoned last week to say paint had come in and I now have it. It is a two part stick with paint and gloss coat. Looks correct and it IS a FIAT part number 71805025.
