Engine Re-Mapping

Hi Frank again,

Can anyone tell me if engine re-mapping is as good as the adverts make it sound. The specialist say can increase torque and fuel consumption without any downside, can this be true!!!!!!!!

Does anyone have any real experience.

Thanks Frank

This has been discussed at length from time to time. I suggest you use the forum search facility above, select "Motorhome Matters" as the forum to search, remap as the keyword, and set time to "All Posts". Then get your ice bag, and sit and read! :-)

As you will see, there are risks for vehicles such as motorhomes, which are perpetually heavy, and "remap" covers a multitude of differing offers.

You will also note that, as usual, there are very strongly held opinions on both sides, sometimes even based on fact! :-) Have fun!

I have had my motorhome remapped by Alex at Boostersuk, unfortunately it did not upload first time, Alex installed it again and it worked brilliantly, however, be aware you are putting the rest of the drive train under increased load, as regards fuel if you use the additional power you will use more fuel, nothing is for free.

If your willing and happy to accept the above like some of us go ahead.
