shirles Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 I got the same message on my kindle a few weeks ago while in France and felt really lost without it cos I spend quite a bit of dosh every month on kindle and amazon. My response was not to buy from them and only download free stuff and their free trial newspaper offers. And by the way the newspapers are missing sections so I just use them for a couple of weeks then cancel the sub. I can understand them cutting people off if they don't buy owt, but not if you pay for stuff on a regular basis. I'm so glad I didn't get one now!!! :-S Mel I love my kindle ;-) I can live without the internet on my hols but I couldnt live without something to read I have downloaded loads of free books and a friendly soul on here sent me a few as well. My O.H actually weighed my books last year and I had to leave a couple behind >:-( he bought me this for my birthday (crafty) he now can take more!!
