Mikey
Just arrived home from a short trip around the Scottish borders. Arrived in Hawick at the main car park to be met by a helpful "host". They have marked out campervan parking for about 10 vans. the host gave me a short leaflet on what they were providing for campervan and also a booklet on the town. You are allowed to park overnight for free, one night excluding a Friday night. This is a trial they are doing for two years to assess the benefits. At the moment no power, water or waste facilities. Toilets close by. Would recommend a visit.
