hi

how about these,

Keswick : 10 mins from site ,The old railway trail, great ride up a nice river valley. It is part of the C2C if you feel energetic. You can go mountain biking in the Whinlatter Forest about 1/2 hour from the site again if you feel fit

Canterbury: just down the road is a track into town, then you can pick up the Crab and whinkle trail to Whitstable, nice day out.

Devizes: The site is on the Kennet Avon canal, nice ride into Bath from there.

Chertsey: On the banks of the Thames, which has a cycle track along side it

Dalamere Forest: right next to the site numerous trails in the forest

Cannock Chase: ----------------------Ditto--------------------------------

Pembrey Caravan Club site in Carmathenshire.

Out of the gate and turn right onto the Millenium Trail, through Burry Port, past Llanelli and onto the Wetland Centre (approx 10 miles all off road on tarmac).

A bit of road from there leads onto the path through Clyne Woods on old railway track all the way to the seafront near Mumbles. (note that this would be a 50 mile round trip).

Also an option from Llanelli up another old railway track on what is known as the Swiss Valley Route.

Additionally there are off road tracks within Pembrey Country Park itself. Either down to Cefn Sidan beach, or just wander through the woods.

"The caravan park is ideal for a relaxing holiday break, offering an amazing variety of wildlife, lovely walking trails and well kept cycle routes, including the South Downs Link to the North Downs which follows a quaint old railway line."

we like this one as it is near home in south London, has a lovely pub serving proper food in village, and sits right on South downs cycle route as it was a station on the route. basic, small but good IMO if a cyclist....
