mikejkay Posted September 23, 2012 Share Posted September 23, 2012 Has anyone had a problem with the mirrors on a new(ish) Ducato. Over about 55mph the mirrors fold back slightly and I keep on having to readjust them so that I can't see astern without leaning as far forward as I can get. Not safe!. There doesn't appear to be any means of increasing the friction on the swivel joints. I don't really want to have to wedge or glue them. Do they have to be dismantled to have a joint tightened up? DuxDeluxe Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 If it is a 2011 Ducato then it should still be under warranty - I would suggest taking it back to the dealer or a Fiat commercial establishment as it certainly isn't something that I have heard of before - doesn't happen to mine (with "long" mirrors) even at 70.
