new to the game Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 After 6 years of being without a car and travelling everywhere in our motorhome we are in the process of buying a car and looking to tow. Can anyone give advice re insurance companies who will insure me, have been told from Swinton today that my no-claims from our Hymer motorhome doesn't count and I will have to start from scratch. :'( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mel B Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 Hi, personally I'd ring round other insurance companies as some mirror the NCD nowadays, it might also be an idea to ask the question of which cars are cheapest to insure too which may then help you choose which car to go for. new to the game Posted October 18, 2012 Author Share Posted October 18, 2012 You were right Mel, contacted Safeguard today for details regarding my motorhome policy and found out they have been providing car insurance for the last 18months.
