Cinders Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 Hi everyone, I'm new to this, and am looking for advice or helpful suggestions as to which motorhome I should be looking at on my very limited budget. (about 7-8K ) It will be my only vehicle, so needs to do the Sainsbury's run and be parked on the road outside my terraced house! I want 2 berths but with 4 belted seats (for the grandchildren). It will be for week-end use with the occasional longer trip. Diesel preferred as more economical? Something like the Romahome? and with elevating roof to enable me to cope with barriers? Alternatives might be an Auto-Sleepers Frisky (though I'm not sure the internal layout meets your specification) or perhaps something built on the VW Transporter. Dave Newell Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 Try leaving the grand children with their parents and you can take the extra belted seats out of the equation 8-) .You might find something like a Romahome is limited on weight and therefore payload for four even if two are juniors.
