whbs Posted July 9, 2006 Share Posted July 9, 2006 Does anyone out there have a Calypso 2002 or before? If so, can you tell me what the fitting are which extends the length of the two single beds? Have just bought one and the uprights in the cab have sockets for some kind of support, but nothing was supplied with the van. Thanks in anticipation. Derek Uzzell Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 Can't help with Calypso technicalities, but it's pretty common for 'spare' bits to remain forgotten in owner's attics after the motorhome has been sold. In my Herald's case a cushion vital for making up the single-beds option needed to be retrieved from a previous owner. Roy Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 Hi Bill, Our Calypso is 1994 model. The extenders bolt on to the sockets and then flap down when the front seat seats are moved forward. This extends the single beds by about 10". I suppose they were standard and as Derek mentions, somebody will have them tucked away in their loft. Why not try the previous owner?
