PJay Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Is it my computer, or do others have some of the post,s come out very light print? i wanted to print a Pm from some-one, but it was very feint, to read, and did not come any better in print. Is there a way around this problem? I have just got new glasses, so can't be me!! PJay
Robinhood Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Can't remember without searching just what the exact problem is, but be reassured it isn't you or your computer. It first appeared when the Forum was "rejigged" and is a result of the particular profile settings of the original poster.
nowtelse2do Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I had the same problem after the "rejigging" but after a couple of weeks it went back to normal (never touched it). There are still some members post's that are still feint thoe. My problem on here is that when typing a post, letters and spaces are missing. Doesn't happen on other forums. The drop downs are still a bloody nuisance also. Dave

PJay Hi PJay; I'm using a Mac , so this is what I would suggest, in general terms; 1 Click and drag to select all of the text you want to print. 2 "copy" text 3 Open basic text app in my case TextEdit, and "paste" text into a new doc' 4 Select all of text, go to "format" menu and select "fonts"; in TextEdit you can then select colour of text, select black and print the doc" It's a pain, but if it's important to print doc' then maybe worth it, otherwise it's a pen and paper copying exercise! cheers alan b
Dr Dave Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 HiIts not your computerIts because some posters use the rich editing text function which is found in the control panel this lets you. Change the colour and by default it can be a little grey. Dave
