I'm fortunate enough to live there and the fayre is so well supported that some here have thought it wise to try to restrict it. If you come I'd suggest you use the park and ride which is instigated just for this occasion and the thursday night markets. You need to enjoy crowds as the place is heaving and the different foods and goods available are amazing. Abbey gardens are worth the visit and you can see the point at which the barons are reputed to have prayed before going to face King John with the Magna Carter (Ive probably spelt that wrong but then I'm an like that) John (lol) 8-) Greene King also live here,

Yes, we've done this several times. The car park has 5 dedicated large motohome spaces but you're free to park in the "normal" spaces too - plenty of motorhomers do.

It's free of charge overnight (after 6pm), as long as you put a pay & display ticket on in the morning (8am).

Highly recommended, although we've got different plans this year so giving it a miss.
