Mr. Grumpy
While on holiday this year we saw a simple idea for preventing rain water running down the side of a caravan. It consisted of a flexible strip of plastic bonded on to a cord which ran through the awning runner of the van. The strip projected about 30m/m from the rail and allowed the water to run off with out touching the side of the van; result no marks. Our problem, we don't know who makes it or where to purchase it. I have put this on here as almost no one seems to read the Caravan Chat forum. Any help appreciated.
Derek Uzzell
Perhaps what you saw is one of the awning-rail attachments shown here: http://www.fishbrain.biz/acatalog/awning-attachments.html
