colin Posted December 2, 2012 Share Posted December 2, 2012 As I posted before, my (ex) boss persuaded me to agree to ride 'shotgun' on a Huck's Starter, we would build it (having built two before) then travel overland as far as poss to NZ, got to admit to a sigh of relief when the scheme fell throu. A mate of mime accompanied a friend on a concrete hulled boat he built on a round the world trip. Got as far south america, visited Devils Island (french Guiana) and I remember the photos of the overgrown cells where Papillion was incarcerated. also travelled up the Amazon, where the bars were like something out of a western, with everyone firing hand guns into the ceiling while dancing around...they had a row and my mate flew back and his friend carried on.
