Frankie Dettori quite rightly got his six month ban today after he tested positive for a banned substance . Fair play to him unlike many before him he's held his hands up and said he can only blame himself and he apologized to those he has let down .

Mr Lance Armstrong and his blind backers should take note , an apology goes a long way

There's another difference as well Antony, he was done for taking cocaine..............not drugs for enhancing his performance ;-)

 

So in my view............not a doping cheat.............. just a dope for getting caught :D

Aha that I did not know , although Dave I suppose it still is a banned substance and on the bad boy list . I suppose the other question is did he give the horse a sniff ?

Not being a horse racing fan myself - can anyone tell me.

 

Do the horses run faster if the rider has taken drugs ?

Under the influence of drugs you can find the strangest actions attractive. Tho horse sniffing is not one I have heard of before. (lol)
