Chris B
We have just had a Fiamma bike rack fitted to our motorhome and are looking for a cover for two bikes. So far we have found the fiamma one and one made by Taylormade. As these are on the net I have not been able to inspect either. Has any one got experience of these covers. I really need to know which would be strongest, not just the cheapest. Thanks Chris
Brian Kirby
There are two versions of the Fiamma. One is made from a woven fabric, the other from textured sheet vinyl. The woven is undoubtedly stronger, but the one we got was poorly made and hopeless baggy mess over two bikes and flapped around when travelling. In the end we remade it - fits like Saville Row now! Don't know about the Taylormade.Regards
chas
Hi- Our bike cover which goes over 2 bikes which we have used for several years is still available from Argos for £4.99. with 2 bungy cords it does the job a treat. chas
oldie
Taylormade covers are really strong. It's a bit of a struggle pulling the draw cord which could do with more room in the channel. What you must consider though is the type of bike your going to carry and give the the dimensions to them.
roger s
I have a Taylor made bike cover, it was the best value we could find (not cheap but good) It is well made and easy to fit on our van. Cant remember how much it cost, was bought at York show last year

Pilgrimphil
We came across Sew'n'so at the Lincoln show yesterday. "www.sewnsos.co.uk" (but website currently being revised) The can make up bespoke bike covers and quoted about £40 for a two bike cover. You would need to give them "slit" dimension etc. but they make a huge range of covers. We will be talking to them as soon as we get oirselves organised. They are from Spalding.
