colin Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 CIS have sent me insurance renewal and they are withdrawing third party driving other vehicles insurance :-( at moment I have only the one insurance where I am main driver ( I have a couple of dormant policies that are unlikly to be active for couple of years) and I often use this for driving other's cars so looks like I'm in the market for new insurance which gives me at least minimum legal cover to drive other's cars, any recomendations? Derek Uzzell Posted July 15, 2006 Share Posted July 15, 2006 I understand that it's becoming increasingly common for motor insurance policies to limit cover to specifically named vehicles (I think Safeguard has restricted cover to 'named vehicles' for some time.) You could try the Caravan Club or Comfort Insurance. In July 2005 CC Insurance Services arranged a comprehensive insurance policy (via NIG) for me and this included the 3rd part cover you are seeking. I've just insured with Comfort Insurance and that policy also covers 3rd Party Liability should I wish to drive someone else's vehicle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
