Guest machra
Just looking at dehumidifiers for the van during winter and wonder if anyone tried one of these solar dehumidifiers. I know there are several posts about the ins and outs of using a dehumidifier as opposed to a heater and I dont want to open that debate again, ,but I just wondered if anyone had used one these. I have no connection with the company. http://www.solarventi.co.uk/index.pl?section=11 There is a free standing version here - http://www.solarventi.co.uk/index.pl?section=28 Probably the one I would look at as it looks like it could be used free standing at the side of the van with the hose attached to a vent on the van. Brian Kirby
Matter of cost, I think. The theory sounds fine so, providing you have a suitable inlet for the warm air, it looks worth exploring. Obviously no good if your van is in shade much of the time. I'd only use existing holes, though - just in case!
