was going to say Chateau-larcher but closed until March, maybe worth looking it up for return as its really nice and quiet with electric on hard stand pitches in a green wooded area next to lake and playing fields.3€ a night

lots of stops in the area though:

Depends how near Poitiers you want to be.

The Nieuil L'Espoir aire to the south-east of Poitiers has free overnight parking

whereas (despite the "gratuit" in the first link below) I'm pretty sure there's still a charge for the private aire at Mirebeau to the north-west of Poitiers

We tried to stay at Futuroscope in January a couple of years ago but the aire was closed until mid february. We drove for 30 mins to the town of Vivonne where there is an aire for 3-4 vans with electric, water and a loo in the market square.

We stopped in Blois a couple of nights ago, aire was ok but not as many facilities as Vivonne

If you want a "proper"site just north of Poitiers there's one near Jaunay Clan called Camping Le Futuriste at St Georges-les-Baillargeaux. we've used it a couple of times during winter dashes south and we both think its a good stop, with good views over Poitiers on a clear night.

Information on Vivonne aire here:

Looks good (though note the "Avoid Friday night and Saturday market-day" caveat) if the intention is to leave Poitiers on N10 towards Angouleme.
