Wanted 2005/6 autotrail Cheyenne 634 U

Hi, I am considering buying the above with the U shape lounge. That age van is before the dreaded reversing problem and the older 2.8 engine is supposedly reliable. The overall length is 21.5 ft which is my maximum driveway limit. Budget is circa £21 500. so if anyone has a good one, with service history please respond to this post. Thanks

If you look on the internet there are one or two about but very few. It's definately a good spacious layout and some were built on the Merc chassis but the 2.8 Fiat is well on top of its job. The pre x250 body is far better than current one and was well put together. Someone will no doubt point you in the right direction. I used to own a 634 U on a Merc chassis with the four cylinder engine, the only thing to watch was a slight roll on bends and roundabouts. The Fiat will stick to the road better especially when overtaking HGV's. Good luck with your hunt.

Thanks for your input. Its encouraging. I decided on this particular model after a previous post when many folk offered their advice and experience. There are a couple of L lounge vehicles on the market at present which may become the compromise.
