Van reupholstered

Just had our Trigano Tribute (Tribby) refurbished by Reluxe of Ilkeston – or Premier Furnishings Limited. What an excellent job they did.

We had been looking around with a view to changing the van , but did not like the new layouts, so decided to stay with the Tribby. And looked at getting the interior changed It was cheaper than replacing the van as the mileage is low and interior still in good condition so after seeing their work on another Tribby it was decide to visit them on their stand at Malvern and after a chat and a look at some of the materials available we booked our Van for a makeover

We were greeted by very friendly staff – Casey and Gemma and made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We arrived Tuesday mid-day to look over and pick the material we wanted. The van was parked along side the office and hooked up to the electrical point provided . We stayed in the van overnight Tuesday and then used the courtesy car they provided next morning and had a quick look around the Peak District and the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield. We returned lunchtime Thursday and what a transformation. Our Tribby looked like a new van. The cab seats, upholstery and cushions were all expertly re-upholstered to an extremely high standard. They also made new curtains for us and these too were made very well and we hadn’t expected these to be replaced. I am really pleased with the finished job and I just can’t wait now for the spring so that we can use the van to explore more places. We could have stayed on Thursday night but decided it was time to head home.

If you are thinking of having your van re-upholstered I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to you. Their web address is http://premierfurnishings.co.uk/ They also attend the motorhome shows if you wish to see some photos check http://www.tribby.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2040

We had the same problem we tried a couple of upholsters, one had a work shop 200yds away from our house But no one was interested... we were told about Reluxe who do refurbish Motorhomes and Caravans, even though it was a 4 hour trip and we could stay in the motorhome overnight as they did not take out the cushions and seating, They made up new ones, the passenger seat and driver’s seat where removed to be refurbished inside their factory unit and we did enjoy our trip around the Derbyshire Dales in their car. We have since spoke to them and had some big cushions made up and they did them in 3 days and that includes delivery. We are glad that we did choose to reupholster the van and choose Reluxe after being recommended by another motor homer

No Problem £1400 +VAT and well worth it. But it will depend on what material you choose and how much needs to be changed, they will give you a quote http://www.worldofmotorhomes.com/inside-van/upholstery-furnishings/reluxe-premier-furnishings .....Phil

Thanks for that, it seems quite reasonable and looks good. I don,t think we will be doing it this year . It will be dry cleaned again (£50) for another year. :-|
