Suda
Has anyone got experience of the Garmin sd card for Morocco. We have an up to date paper Michelin 742 map and wondered whether to invest in the sat nav version as well. Thanks

fairweather camper
Someone told me that the sat nav in morocco was useless, but having never been cannot confirm this
Derek Uzzell
The Garmin Morocco SD card seems to be available for approaching £70 via Amazon. There are 2 Amazon reviews, one 4 -star and one 2-star, but neither is recent and the 4-star reviewer had yet to try out the card in Morocco itself. This discussion is more recent http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/navigation-maps-compass-gps/newbie-going-morocco-maps-gps-67502 and contains the following statement... "I'm generally a big fan of using a GPS, but I found it to be useless in Morocco; I made the mistake of buying the Garmin map of Morocco and it was absolutely worthless..." Assuming that's a credible view, I'm not sure I'd be prepared to 'invest' £70.
