Pete-B
Hi, Does anyone have any information about solar panel regulators? I've got a 100Watt solar panel which feeds into a Alden SPS 180 (well that's what the name says on it) it has five led's on the front in various stages of being lit up and I would like to know what they indicate If I go on to google and type in Alden SPS 180 it comes up with a model which looks completely different to mine. Thanks for any help. .

Robinhood
I can find references to two types of SPS180. This one has 5 LEDs on it (the other doesn't). http://www.alden.fr/media/24883/reg180_fr_de.pdf The status of the LEDs translates as follows: LED operation: Light load: - On: the battery is charging. - Blinking: The battery is charging end phase. - Off: The battery is fully charged. 3 red LEDs indicate the charge level of the battery.
