Has anyone had a problem with habitation locker door seals not being fitted on door outer edge.

There is a rubber seal that door fits up to but no seal arround all four doors outer edge

I believe there was a problem with water ingress so swift fitted these seals on later models.

Does any one know who can supply ??

A GOOGLE-search on "autocruise locker door seals" (omitting the quotes) will retrieve previous discussions about this.

You might be able to get advice from Swift if they fitted extra seals to locker doors when they took over Autocruise, or from the Autocruise owners' club http://www.theautocruisers.com/

There are companies that specialise in rubber seals (eg. http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/ ) but, unless you can establish which design of seal Swift may have used, you'd need to decide for yourself which product(s) from those companies might be most suitable.

Roserod, I believe the locker door seals were introduced by Swift on their 2010 Autocruise coachbuilts.

I understand the Swift part number is 9827664.

The attached photo shows the cross section of the seal.

2008 Autocruise coachbuilts have a 10mm wide slot in the locker door whereas the 2010 Swift version has an 8mm wide slot.

Therefore, when applied to a 2008 'van the seal is sloppy in its fit and is liable to move around and/or fall out if not secured in place.

The section of locker-door shown in the photo provided by Gram looks very the edge of the doors used on my Hobby motorhome.

Shortly after I purchased the vehicle I noticed that water was entering the lockers. However, this was not due to the seals on the locker-doors being inadequate, but to Hobby having fitted an 'edge cover' to the inner frame (against which the seals butt) that joined at the bottom of the frame. The inner frame's profile has a lip on its outer edge that causes water to pool within the frame. When this happened, water crept up the joint and into the locker. Sealing the joint cured the water ingress problem.

The above may not be relevant to Autocruise motorhomes, but it's worth adding that, although my Hobby's locker-doors do not have the type of 'slot seals' shown in Gram's photo, they still need a good push to close as the seals on the rear of the door contact the inner frame. I'm pretty sure that, if I fitted the extra seals to my Hobby's doors, they would not shut.
