coach2000 Posted July 21, 2006 Share Posted July 21, 2006 I have just bought a 2002 Peugot Boxer which has now developed a fault on the central locking. When I disable the Toad alarm, the locks pop up on both doors and then immediatly relock. The alarm has disarmed okay but I have to open the doors manually, if I let go of the key before opening the door, it will relock itself. If any one else has come across this problem I would appreciate your help. As it is the busy time of the year, I cannot get it done on warranty till sometime in August. Clive. chas Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 Had a similar problem on my boxer but my alarm system is a cobra installation, expect you have checked that the courtesy light swiches are all working correctly, but it looks like it will have to be checked out by an alarm installer, mine was traced to the courtesy light swich which had fell apart in situ, trouble with these electronic jobbys they are like a leaking roof , where the water comes in is not normally the the place they leak out.
