antony1969
In these days of equality and been all inclusive etc why don't we have say a woman Pope or a Muslim/Catholic Pope or a gay Pope , scrub the last one that's probably been done many times anyway . Even better what about a Pope that makes an apology for his perverted beast Church members who have destroyed thousands of lives through child sex crimes and a Pope that helps investigations into such incidents . I never criticise people for their spelling or grammar - only on their content......and as far as content goes, I agree with the general tone of anthony's post - although according to some sources there has already been a female pope. As an outsider, I watch these papal procedings with detached (and often incredulous) interest but I understand that one of the favourites is black, so that'll help spread the minority job-promotion bit. On the other hand, they are all further right than Ghengis Khan so what difference will it make?

The Catholic faith comes a very close second for me in it's warped ways to the Muslim faith . Any faith that plays heavily on peoples shame and guilt to keep them in line is in my view a disgrace . As far as appointing a black pope , why not , it could be a good move .
