Fiamma Awning, mounting on Transit MK7 Gutter

Hi guys,

 

I'd like to fit a Fiamma F45 Awning to the Camper Van I am converting.

 

It's a short wheelbase MK7 Transit with a GRP Hight Top.

 

I'd like to use the gutter to mount it, so I don't have to drill through the GRP.

 

Has anyone got one fitted in this way?

Hi Paul, not sure if you'll be able to do that as they are very heavy, I have seen the much lighter Fiamma Caravan Store type (which you roll out manually) only clamped to the gutter, but never a 'proper' Fiamma wind out one.

I've looked at the Caravan Store Type.

 

Do you know if they are they OK?
