dmurton Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Can anyone help The light has suddenly decided to stay on when the toilet is empty the float inside seems to be moving ok going away tomorrow !,,
Iain Strachan Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Just go and use your van and enjoy yourself, the fact that an unnecessary warning light is on should not be allowed to stop you using it! in fact it will probably clear the fault all by itself. Just remember to empty the toilet every morning. Enjoy

Just remember to empty the toilet every morning. Enjoy Empty it every morning? I'd have thought they'd not need to do that. I only need to empty ours about once every 4 days or so, and that's with the C200 cassette, which is the smallest capacity (I think) of any of the Thetfords; and with two of us in the MH, wildcamping. If the warning light is dodgy, I'd have thought all you'd need do is from time to time open the "slice" and look down through the pan to see what the actual waste level is inside the cassette.....then empty when the level is up to maybe an inch or two below the cassette black rubber sealing ring.
Iain Strachan Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Yes Bruce, but it depends how much beer you consume, my response was to get them to use their van and enjoy it not to bother about such silly lights. Seems that the light has gone out now as I predicted! Cheers
