All ok accept t fitter forgot to put oil filler cap back on , now have oily engine. Didnot loose much oil so hope no harm done.I suppose it will keep the rust down For pities sake! If he couldn't even get that right, what else did the apprentice monkey do wrong during the job, for the 60 quid per hour or whatever that you were forking out? Wooie Posted May 15, 2013 Share Posted May 15, 2013 The first thing i do after i`ve had some work done at either a Main dealer or a Garage is to have a good look around the outside of the vehicle and then lift the bonnet and check the fluids and make sure everything looks right before i go anywhere and definitely before i start the engine. I`ve had Service Managers and others come out to ask why i`m doing this after the vehicle has just been serviced / worked on, your experience is EXACTLY the reason why i do it.
