WA Michael Posted April 11, 2013 Share Posted April 11, 2013 I will be visiting UK in June and would love to find if anybody knows of GAS shock absorbers for coachbuilt Fiat x250s. I say coachbuilt because our service guy says the standard shocks aren't up to the job, there is a heavier oil option but here in Australia nobody has gas. The heavy shocks fitted [front] are so far one burst, one wonky. So, they must be replaced, please if anyone has any ideas. Even if we have to travel Europe. Admittedly travelling Oz is hard on a vehicle but we would like to harden the MH up.All offers considered. We can ship, no problem.Thanks a lot. Steve928 Posted April 11, 2013 Share Posted April 11, 2013 For some reason German Ebay (ebay.de) is a good place to go for shock absorbers and a search there brings up quite a few hits. There seem to be gas front struts available from Kamoka and the better-known Bilstein. Search on ebay.de for "ducato 250 stossdampfer vorne gasdruck" and tick the box 'Beschreibung einschließen'.
