Say about a month in November or thereabouts......any advice on costs, possible destinations and potential pitfalls would be appreciated. (Ex UK tips would be OK, we'll just add the Irish sea...) vindiboy Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 We go to Spain or Portugal most years in Winter, just back from four Months, in Portugal, Wild Camping and Aires all the time, don't like Camp site life,we go from Dover as we are on the main land, never had a problem yet Aires open all year through France, water may be off due to frost so always get it when you can, likewise keep the loo empty, empty it even if it doesn't need it LOL.plenty of Camp sites in Spain if that is your bag, never booked any when we were tuggers and used sites, just turned up and got in, even in Benidorm which gets busy overwinter.great life go for it and enjoy.
