Guest 1footinthegrave
A Lancashire supermarket chain has been forced to clear its shelves of monkey nuts - because the label doesn't state that the packet contains nuts A spokesperson for the FSA said: 'The reason for the withdrawal is that the packaging does not state the product contains peanuts, which is a specific allergen that’s listed in legislation. Just thought I'd share that with you in case you bought some before they were withdrawn. :D

Guest 1footinthegrave
Perhaps it's me I thought the clue was in the name "nuts", but I did appreciate the advice on an electric drill I purchased once that warned " do not use under water" :D

Mel B
If it's down to food labelling reflecting the contents, then how come the product called "Nobby's Nuts" is still allowed .... (lol)

A lot of them on here are those awful square ones rather than the standard hexagonal variety. Plus there seems to be a plethora of dipsticks - I thought you only needed one per chatterbox!
