Tertia Posted April 28, 2013 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Hi Folks. Is there anybody out there who can help me with my "door lock problem"? This is the situation : The remote central locking works properly. Inserting the ordinary key in the drivers door lock locks the front doors and the side door. Inserting the key in the rear doors locks those. So far so good. When I put the key in the drivers door lock to open the doors, the front ones unlock but the side door stays locked. The rear doors unlock ok. I ask the question because I use additional security measures which are arranged to only give me access through the side door. Should the remote locking key fail or be lost then I am well snookered. It would be great if someone with a similar van conversion could check this for me. Many thanks Tertia. JamesFrance Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 On ours if you unlock the driver's door with the key and open it there is a button near the window lowering buttons and mirror controls which you press to unlock the sliding door and rear doors from the cab.
