TomTom connector

Hi,

Before I spend out and perhaps waste my dosh, can anyone reassure me that that if I bought the TomTom adapter that plugs into their devise on my Fiat dashboard will my caravan and camper fit into that? I don't need the blue tooth part to work just something to hold it and power it up.

IIRC the TomTom for the Fiat is a specific model, i.e. not an adaptor for fitting any Tom Tom unit, like your caravan & camper.

There has also been many posts on various forums, where people who have bought the "system" were very disappointed & regretting doing so.

I have had the camper and caravan fitted to the adaptor for over a year, its a tight fit in the adaptor but works perfectly well. The TomTom caravan version is basically a go 100 series. The Fiat tomtom is slightly smaller but has the same connector as the GO 1000 series. Hope that reassures you
