casey
Hi, our son has a year 2000 van and i`m sure it`s the same fire. It is just a push fit at the bottom, so pull each side towards you at the bottom then lift the top over the controls. hope this helps. casey. dethleff
Thanks Casey I thought it was like that, but just wanted conformation, before I started pulling. Thanks again Stan
Derek Uzzell
This thread refers to removal of the front cover of a Carver Fanmaster, 3600STC. It would appear (Page 2 of thread) that, in some versions of the heater, there MAY be a couple of screws that would need to be removed before the cover is lifted upwards. http://www.practicalcaravan.com/forum/technical/carver-heater-gas (If the cover refuses to budge using the method Casey suggests, look for a retaining screw in each front bottom corner.)
