Too good to be true .......?

Has anyone else noticed how many ads in the Caravan Club classifieds seem too good to be true? I have notified the website of two that I was 99% sure were scams, but there seem to be lots that are priced well below a 'reasonable' valuation. It makes finding a genuine sale very difficult (!)

Well Clive, motorhomes only a few years old advertised well below (even some priced below £10,000) their notional value. Which perhaps suggests that there is some scam involved, but it is impossible to tell without responding. And responses from abroad for vans advertised as available in this country, with the foreign vendor 'willing to travel over with the van' to avoid having to 'import' it into their own country and pay duty. I cannot be more specific over the ads I have identified, as I have notified the website and they have been removed. It is the sheer number I find advertised at well below what I would expect vans of that age/type to be worth that concerns me, and I have no desire to be a 'policeman' and check out every one. If you look on the CC classifieds or motrohomesforsale I expect you will find examples. I just find it frustrating and wonder if others have had the same experience.
