Brian Roberts
The back corner mouldings on the Sun Ti are actually fixed on by Velcro and on the way back from Cornwall the other day we discovered, at a coffee stop, that the vertical nearside back moulding was loose and rattling in the slip stream. Not had time to investigate, but guess that it is the adhesive holding the heavy duty Velcro that has gone. Has anyone had experience of this with the Knaus, or has anyone got a suggestion as to a suitable strong adhesive I can use. Brian
JohnP
I had the front cappings where they cover cab to body joint on my Knaus come loose (Velcro) What I did was press them back into position and tack them with Sikoflex. The tacks were about 50mm long at 300 spacings between the capping and body shell. I thought that if they ever had to come off the tacks could be cut with a Stanley knife. It seems that Velcro is used extensively in m/hs. The interior panel where the tv is mounted is also secured to the roof with Velcro.

Back to OP why not just replace the Velcro, the heavy duty industrial Velcro is easily obtainable.
