AnnPaul Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Has anybody out there got a copy of the Instructions or knows how to erect the Outwell Lux (curved) windbreak. Please help. PaulAnn
BGD Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Soz Paul, but what am I missing here? It's simply a curved windbreak is it not? What is the specific problem you are having with inserting the poles into the channels and then doing the guy-ropes on it? If there's some problem with the materials, you can contact Outwell direct, just google for their contact details.
Derek Uzzell Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 These comments suggest that this windbreak may not be as simple to erect as one might expect it to be! http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/2670
BGD Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Maybe just contact them and ask for them to email you the assembly instructions (assuming none came with the windbreak you've got?): http://www.outwell.com/en/Contact%20FAQ/Contact.aspx
Mel B Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 According to a comment on the UK Campsites forum: The trick is to fix the centre poles before the end ones and there is a definite knack to taking the curved poles apart. Because of the steel frame it is very stable.
