Brian Kirby
A while back, I think sometime early in '05, there was a lot of indignation about pronouncements by, or on behalf of, the Caravan Club regarding aires and the loss of revenue they represented for campsite owners. This was taken as hostile to motorhomers, who like aires. Can ayone please refer me to who made the statement, where and when? Was this reported in the CC mag, in MMM, or elsewhere? Thanks and regards

Have a look at http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopic-5031.html&highlight= The page takes a bit of time to download but they don't charge for looking ............. yet. JohnP
The remark was made by the Club Chairman in 2005 and it was reported in the magazine. I think it was made at a conference in Europe and critised wild camping and aires and people not using commercial sites. There were a lot of angry people on this forum (Old version) at the time.
