Better be safe and stock up now. As they say 'the s..t could hit the fan' or anything else. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/venezuela-hit-toilet-paper-shortage-crisis-091732632.html#pBeSFh
Guest 1footinthegrave
An absolute gem of a comment ( below ) I thought, seems it's OK to run our of food, but no toilet paper spells the end of the world. They could always resort to some torn up newspaper on a hook like we were subjected to as kids. "Here there's a shortage of everything - butter, sugar, flour - but there always used to be toilet paper."

As they say 'the s..t could hit the fan' or anything else. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/venezuela-hit-toilet-paper-shortage-crisis-091732632.html#pBeSFh Dave -- thanks for a new topic to discuss -- BUT -- what an unadulterated load of Tory claptrap! (Isuppose, as the last Scots Tory standing, it is to be expected!) Firstly, who on earth is 'Red Ed'? -- not a politician that I recognise --if you mean the present leader of the British Labour party, then he is about as 'red' as a banana! (As I said to 'Had Enough' on another thread, when he was 'sounding off' about 'Socialists', it would seem that you couldn't recognise a 'Socialist' " if you stepped on one", Dave!) Young master Miliband needs to take a few leaves (not toilet paper either!) out of his father's book -- literally -- the late great professor Ralph Miliband needs to be studied by Ed and his trusty lieutenant, John Cruddas, to construct the kind of democratic Socialist Republic that the late great Hugo Chavez (6 times democratically elected -- beat that Mrs. Thatcher!) achieved in Venezuela. His ( also democratically elected) successor Maduro, seems to be suffering from the usual dastardly undermining from the U.S.A., who are always sh*t scared of any democracies on their doorstep -- usually supporting miliatary dictatorships. At least they haven't succeded in conspiring to murder the democratically elected leaders of Venezuala -- yet -- as they did with Allende in Chile. As this item is on 'Sky News' I would doubt its veracity anyway. Cheers, Colin
Guest 1footinthegrave
When I see Clegg, Milliband, and Cameron on the TV I wish they would wear name badges. ;-) at least then you could tell them apart. ;-) at least Farage has always got a pint in his hand and a fag on the go so I know it's him :D
