scud24 Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Hi all, Iam off to France for a week in June,because of only going for a week I thought about going along the coast from Dunkirk as far as Honfleur,then on the way back stopping around some of the WW1 site around the Somme battlefield,I was going to be staying on aires sites that dot the coast up to Honfleur and maybe stay somewhere north of Rouen along the Seine River.Is there any sites and towns that anybody could recommend either Aire or camping along the route that are worth a stopover,and also are there any actual campsites that are well placed that are near to Theipval,Lochnagar etc etc that are near to the memorials and cemeteries on the Somme,Aire sites around that area seem vey few and far between so I want to stay on a campsite if Possible.Thanks as always.
