Mike B.
Just a quick thankyou to the people who offered their help in getting a gas pipe out to me in Hungary. As Pelmetman asked for the heads up on it here goes: Bought pipe for £5 inc postage on Amazon via internet, had it delivered to my next door neighbour who then posted the package on to Hungary for £4.95 so total of £9.95. Package took 3 days to get to neighbour, then 7 days to Hungary (Including 2 bank holidays in Europe) so may be quicker normally. Now a very happy camper with Hungarian, European & British gas pipes! Cost comparisons: Riversway, £12.95 pipe + £20 postage (No tracking or guarantee) No-one else would ship or post to Hungary for some reason even though it is in EU. Upshot-Good old Royal Mail came up trumps-will not knock them again. If anyone finds themselves over here with similar problems, suggest you go this route and save yourself a lot of hassle and wasted time. Once again, thanks for offers from all-you know who you are-hope I can help you out sometime Mike

Guest JudgeMental
I think you were very lucky putting your trust in royal mail! An item I had posted out to us in Italy last year turned up 4 weeks after we had left :-D
BGD
Just be aware that Royal Mail will only have carried it within the UK - they'll then have passed it on to one ( or more) partner courier companies to get it across mainland Europe to Hungary.
