Tyre choice

Conti vanco camper are a good choice if you want to keep to a camping tyre, they are a bit cheaper give a better ride & tests have shown them to be a better performer but the do not have the M&S rating or snowflake symbol which may be important to you if you use the van in colder climates where it a requirement in the winter.

My tyres will need replacing next year I am considering going away from camping tyres and fitting all season van tyres.

Hankook white van man tyres. As long as they have the load rating you want they should be fine. After all white vans do massive mileage and get a hard life. I've used them and they are fine.

There are other van tyres available.

My local garage recommended 'Klebber' tyres. They have a marking on them which looks like an image of a van. Nice thick tread and wide. It amazes me the thin looking tyres used on some vans. I assume they are car Tyres!

The Kleber range aimed at light commercial vehicles (LCVs) is called "Transpro".

"Transpro" is not a 'camping-car' range of tyres, just one of many LCV 'summer tyre' possibilities. Transpro is likely to be a bit cheaper than, say, equivalent LCV tyres from Continental or Michelin, but (as far as I'm aware) there's nothing special about the range.

The background to the (French) Kleber company is summarised here
