Herri
Hi, we used to overnight in the Ferry Terminal Car Park at Calais but the last time we were there (9/2012) they were building and it looked like they were going to change things. Anyone been there recently or know the latest situation? Thanks Herri

gocro
We always use the Bleriot Plage aire, at Easter the site was full but the huge overflow aire by the marina in town had loads of spaces ,the aire is free again outside of June, July and August, was 6/8 euros

Guest searchforsites
Stumbled on this when we came back last week. Shall definitely stop there when we go back in August Forget anything you remember about Sangatte, there has been no camp since 2002. http://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=21930
Brian Kirby
Depends what you mean by "no camp". There is a campsite at Sangatte, Camping des Noires Mottes, which has its 2013 tariffs on its website. GPS N50.94661 E1.75803, if anyone wants it. About €16 per night + electricity. Website here: http://tinyurl.com/oql5h3w

Herri
Thanks everyone. We were going to travel during the day but there is a new roadworks on the motorway in Belgium just near the Ostend turnoff at Gent which is horrendous. Will will now over night at Calais as we used to do. Herri
