RogerThat
Could I buy a 1 foot square metal steel plate and glue/stick it on the roof to use as a mag mount base? Would that be large enough? I'm thinking zero additional height and very low cost :)
RogerThat
The other thought I had, what's my Fiamma awning made out of? Steel? Could I drop a mag mount on the top of the awning housing perhaps? Not sure the sheet metal idea will work if it needs 'grounding' ? Or do I only need a ground plane for transmitting and not receiving? I'll shut up for a bit now (lol)
hallii
The PMR446 Licence-Free Radio channels (446 MHz ) are much clearer, licence free and EU wide. H
