sshortcircuit
One for the techies, I now have dongles to enable connection to the internet via 3G. Both have a slot for up to 32Gb Micro SD cards. I no they can operate without these cards but what are the cards used for?
Guest JudgeMental
surely a micro SIM slot not an SD card slot......it needs a SIM to work doesn't it? unless its built into the dongle....someone techy will be along soon :-D this may help seems it probably is a card reader as well: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2032592

sshortcircuit
Your link was not apparent but explains it well as just a memory stick if not possible slower than a standalone stick. Thanks for link.

gocro
Some years back I used a jailbroken 3 dongle with a software that allowed any carrier, the new software was installed on the micro sim and installed the programme onto the device being used.
