Here's a queer do........

In our lounge we have a glass display cabinet, where we keep 3 dead cats, family mementos, and a few oddments of jewelry............when we go away I take out any valuable bits and hide them ;-) .................Sue has a tiepin from her Granddad..........but a year or so ago when I went to clear the cabinet as we were off on a trip........it'd gone 8-)

 

Hunted high and low, no sign :-S..................Today its reappeared in the middle of the cabinet 8-) 8-).........My Mums gold bracelet has now gone 8-).......

 

Our neighbour has long complained of a ghost of the previous owner :-S.........the 4 properties in our part of the village were all built and owned by the same family ;-)..........

I'D make sure it's not your missus nipping down the pawnbrokers, but no wonder she hasn't taken the dead cats, don't think they would fetch much. :D

 

Offline for a while, Tarn Gorge beckons tomorrow for a few days.

I forgot there's a dog in there as well :D....................I call it the catacombs ;-)................tis strange though :-S............I've always had an open mind about the other side, ever since we used a Ouija board as a kid 8-)

My Mothers Auntie lived in London in a block of flats opposite Battersea Power station. Her husband was a Policeman in the Met. and then a security officer for Harrods after his retirement.

 

They had a cat and sadly it died of old age and so she took the dead body to the Vets for disposal.

 

She took it on the bus and she had the body in a Harrods carrier bag.

 

On the way there some bugger knicked the bag.

 

When I was younger i found this very funny.

 

I find it very sad now that an old lady tried to right by the cat and some bar steward did that.

 

Sadly - the world does not seem to get better.
