spospe
I understand that current FIAT X250 models can adjust the radio cutoff time, so that the dreaded 20 minutes can be extended up to (I think) 3 hours. Is this correct and does it apply to the Peugeot and Citroen versions?
Robinhood
This will possibly answer part of the above: http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/Ducato-Euro-5-Radio/27267/?posts=
spospe
Thanks Robinhood, it seems to show that new FIAT's can modify the cutoff time, now for the Peugeots and Citroens ..............................
auntyjanet1
If you use Robinhoods link ,and follow Machra,s instructions you can extend the cut off time to 180 mins.I have a Euro5 Peugeot ,and although the method for the Peugeot is slightly different to Machra,s You will still be able to change it.Just play around with it for awhile and you will get there! if I could do it then so should you ;-) Just noticed you have a transit ,so not sure why you need this info
spospe
auntyjanet1, Thank you very much, you have reassured me. I have a Transit today, but am looking to change it early next year (for a Peugeot based Warwick Duo).
lennyhb
If buying new, if its not wired to the leisure battery get the dealer to do it, IMO the only sensible way to wire a radio in a Motorhome.
