Hi has anyone been to the Damage Barton Camping and Caravan campsite in North Devon, if so, I'd appreciate any remarks about how you found it, thanks.

Windy! Good, clean facilities. Shop good. Location ok - about 30 minute walk to the Mortehoe village. The North Morte Farm campsite is closer to the village (5 minute walk) and also much nearer to the coast path. It has good facilities and shop. Limited number of tourer pitches. The touring pitches are more sheltered than Damage Barton and therefore suffer less from the wind.

Generally a nice area with some lovely coastal and valley walks. If you go don't miss the walk to Lee and the lovely pub.

Cheers!

I echo the advice about the wind.

When it blows it really does blow. It was the only time I was really worried about blowing over! I was in a small caravan, didn't sleep much that night!

Well, they should be packed out this week if they can promise a nice breeze!
