donna miller
We've just treated ourselves to an Avtex Snipe fully auto self seeking satellite dish. It can be used portable or fixed to the roof. My query is this; is sikaflex (or equivalent) strong and safe enough to fix the plate to the roof without drilling. The unit is 11 kgs. Thanks in advance. spospe
Donna I suggest you try and call Avtex themselves on 029 2061 0109 (option 2 for technical) and they should be able to give you some sound advice.
donna miller
Thanks, I'll give them a call. That's a Cardiff number by the looks, so they're local to us.

Guest peter
Yes it is, but make sure the roof is spotlessly clean and de-greased with a solvent like methylated spirit or white spirit and must be bone dry. It's the way most oyster plates are fixed and they weigh a fair bit.
