nightrider
What a spiffing day today we held what you might call a cream tea in our garden for some of the members of my facebook group, everyone enjoyed themselves and the next soiree will be a coffee and bagels morning, looking forward to that? CliveH
Yep! - BBQ this evening, a few glasses of Rioja - I an out on the decking - with my good lady and my son and his friends - they are off to Bournemouth in a minute. SWMBO and I will watch the sun go down. There is a mother Blackbird (brown) feeding her offspring on the lawn, I think the last time we had a few days like this was 2006. Bliss. Long may it continue

Symbol Owner
Here's mine tonight folks! Butter roast local organic free-range Wiltshire chicken with herbs, garlic & white wine, Home grown 'Belle de Fontenay' new potatoes, Hurst 'Greenshaft' Garden peas, Whole young organic 'chantenay' carrots. Home - grown 'Royal Sovreign' strawberries with cream & Ice Cream. One bottle (between two!) of Loire Chenin Blanc -- an interesting white, which goes particularly well with roast chicken, I find! Sat out in the evening sunshine in the garden among the smells of my old shrub roses and honeysuckle --divine! Enjoy your spiffing evening, folks, Cheers, Colin.
